Ryan J. Hatton is an accomplished construction litigator and immigration attorney who has been practicing law since 2001. He combines legal acumen with business savvy.

Mr. Hatton’s legal career has comprehensively covered the construction industry. His construction practice includes representing engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers. He is an active participant in construction trade organizations: a frequent speaker and author of numerous articles. His areas of routine engagement include:

  • Defending faulty design claims
  • Defending construction defect claims
  • Assisting in project close-out
  • Prosecuting payment claims via change-orders, mechanic’s liens, and payment bond claims

Mr. Hatton’s immigration practice focuses on workplace compliance, defense of government enforcement actions, and foreign worker petitions. He is a two-time speaker on Immigration Compliance in the Workplace at the State of Minnesota Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) Conference. His areas of frequent engagement include:

  • Advice and counsel to Federal Contractors on E-Verify compliance pertaining to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
