Paul Beasley, VP of Technical Services at Cyber Advisors, will discuss the top 10 cyber threats to companies and forecast threats that may be on the horizon. Dan Buelow, Managing Director of Willis Towers Watson A/E, and chair of the ACEC National Risk Management cyber subcommittee, will discuss the cyber insurance market.

Paul Beasley, VP of Technical Services at Cyber Advisors

VP of Technical Services Paul began his journey at Cyber Advisors in 2013 as the leader of the Project team. An engineer at heart, Paul utilizes 20 years of technical expertise to help drive his team into new technologies and capabilities. With experience ranging from fiber-optic installation on naval carriers to disaster recovery design for multi-site manufacturing, Paul has seen much of the growth and transition of technology. He works closely with the VP of Strategy, Dan Sanderson, to identify market requirements and meet the training needs of the engineering team. He develops these skills by capitalizing on passion- people do best at what they enjoy best. Outside of work, Paul spends his time punching and kicking as a 3rd degree black belt in Karate and enjoys free moments lost in his library of books. He is married with two children and travels for pleasure whenever (and wherever) possible.

Dan Buelow, Managing Director of Willis Towers Watson A/E

Dan Buelow is the Managing Director of WTW A&E, the specialty division for Willis Towers Watson that is exclusively dedicated to providing insurance and risk management solutions to architects and engineers. Dan and his staff of A&E insurance specialists represent over 500 Architectural and Engineering firms located across the country and practicing throughout the world. Along with his team, Dan provides tailored risk management services, including contract negotiation, claims advocacy and a wide variety of risk management education workshops. Dan is on the ACEC National Risk Management Committee (RMC) and chairs the Cyber Sub-Committee. Dan is active in ACEC, AIA and other associations that support the design community. Dan speaks frequently and has written and presented on a wide range or risk management topics for Architects and Engineers. Dan is also host of the WTW A&E podcast series Talk To Me About A&E and moderates WTW A&E’s monthly risk management webinars. Prior to joining Willis, Dan was Vice President and Regional Leader of DPIC companies, responsible for underwriting and risk management for the Midwest Region. Prior to DPIC, Dan was Senior Program Director with Professional Liability Underwriting Managers, Inc. (PLUM) where he was responsible for managing the distribution and underwriting for the largest Lawyers E&O program in the United States; and Reinsurance Analyst for the Reinsurance Intermediary, E.W. Blanch Company.
