Current Business Conditions in Minnesota and its Construction Sector, and the Role of Labor in Future Economic Growth

Ron Wirtz, Regional Outreach Director with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, will discuss current conditions in the construction sector and the role of the labor force in future economic growth, as revealed in the Minneapolis Fed’s spring survey of construction firms (planned for mid-April).
This will include what firms said about recent revenue, project demand, labor demand and availability, outlook, and the challenges of high material costs, rising rates and supply chain difficulties.
