Jeff Coleman named one of the Most Influential People in the concrete construction industry

The results are in – Concrete Construction magazine has chosen attorney Jeff Coleman P. E. as one of the most influential people in concrete construction in 2020. As both a lawyer and a structural engineer, Jeff brings unique skills and experience to his legal work advocating for contractors and the concrete industry.

As Concrete Construction magazine said “But when a legal issue arises, as it inevitably does, we all need someone on our side who knows the law. In cases related to concrete design and construction, Jeff Coleman is that guy. Not only is he highly experienced in construction law but he is also a professional engineer and knowledgeable in concrete. That’s an advantage that has served him, and the concrete industry, well for nearly 40 years.” (For the complete article on Jeff, click here.)

Jeff attended engineering school at Iowa State University where he did research on fatigue of concrete pavements. There, one of the undergrads he worked with was Ron Burg, now executive vice president of the American Concrete Institute. This spring Jeff will become president of ACI.

Jeff has been a member of ACI since 1980, serving 10 years on ACI Committee 301, during which he wrote a column in Concrete International magazine, "Concrete Legal Notes".

During his upcoming position as ACI president, Jeff’s goal is to make the ACI Foundation more visible, as he's found that even ACI members know very little about the work the foundation does for the industry.

At Coleman Law, we’re proud that Jeff has received such high acclaim from this well-known industry publication. They’ve given him well-earned recognition for a career dedicated to representing the concrete and construction industries.
